By introducing some modern bed placement ideas based on a few principles of feng shui, our team at Daily can offer some suggestions to help you settle your restless nights.
1. Commanding Position: A Feng Shui Staple
To start, aim for the commanding position — a feng shui must!
Position your bed so you can see the door without being directly in line with it. This setup keeps you in control of the room’s energy and offers a sense of security. If you can’t avoid having the bed face the door, use a mirror to reflect the door from your bed, still commanding the space.
2. Get Creative with Placement
Centred bed against the wall? Been there, done that.
Consider positioning your bed off-centre. It’s ideal for larger bedrooms and keeps the room feeling open while offering a bit of privacy. Or, go bold with a diagonal bed placement in the corner—this is a modern technique often complimented by floating shelves, leaving plenty of room for furniture and décor.
